Jenny L. Keim, 49, of Kewanee, Illinois passed away at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria, Illinois.
She was born April 17, 1972 in Kewanee, Illinois the daughter of Richard and Penny (Ince) Keim.
She is survived by her fiance, Todd Nelson of Kewanee; two children: Patience (Ken) Nelson of Sterling, Illinois, and Bentley Worlow of Kewanee; two grandchildren: Alia and Kalen Nelson; her mother, Penny (Ray) Hayes of Kewanee; one brother, Rick Keim of Kewanee; three step-sisters: Nikki Hayes of Bettendorf, Iowa, Autumn Hayes of Kewanne, and Tara Lafollette of Kewanee; her grandma, Kathy Keim of Andover; her fiance's children: Whitney Nelson of Kewanee, Tasha Nelson of Galva and their children: Gabe Prescott, Sammy Nelson, Reilly Brock, and Ameira Whiteside and her best friend, Amber Spaniel.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents: Jim and Marilyn Woods, Bob and Mary Jane Ince and Duane Keim.
Jenny graduated from Kewanee High School with the Class of 1990.
She worked as a nurses aid for many years and she attended Blackhawk Community College for LPN classes.
Jenny enjoyed swimming, riding motorcycles, and bowling. She liked to spend porch time with her neighbor friends, Jody and Jerry. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Bradford, Illinois. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 after the visitation at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Elks Lodge in Kewanee, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her son, Bentley Worlow. I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Jenny. I was always happy to visit with her when Bentley was in my Kindergarten class, and she was always so helpful and supportive. I know that she will always be up above dearly watching over Bentley and her family with loving care and thoughts. May you all be comforted in knowing that God’s loving arms surround you. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
