  1. We were fortunate to meet Jim while having our Kitchen remodeled by Some Ones in the Kitchen. He is a great man and will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow.

  2. Jim and I were at WIU at the same time and shared the same passion for the purebred hog business. “Twiggy” brought honesty and integrity to the hog business as well as being a true livestock breeder. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, but Jim was a man of great faith and he will now walk with the Lord

  3. Jim and I were good friends all through high school, shared science and math classes together
Thoughts and prayers to his family

  4. What a great funeral today. Jim, even in death, provided a great opportunity for people to hear the Gospel. And the girls participation in the service was wonderful. Jim’s legacy should last a long, long time.

  5. I had the great pleasure of meeting Jim many years ago when he was working for Nelson Construction. He was a great finish carpenter. During the process of helping with my sister & brother-in-laws house remodel, I learned a lot of trade secrets from Jim on the intricate details of finish carpentry, that I use today in my own home remodeling. To Jim’s family, My thoughts & prayers are with you in this trying time. Jim will be greatly missed.

  6. I had the very great honor of working with Jim for many years. His giving spirit will be greatly missed.

  7. I graduated from Walnut high school with Jim in 1969. I remember his smile and laughter the most. I don’t think I ever saw him again after graduation. How sad that life is too busy too keep up with old friends. My apologies to Jim. Hopefully this will teach me to try harder and do better at keeping track of old friends. My thoughts and prayers to his family at this sad time.
