James Richard "Rick" Wright

James Richard "Rick" Wright, 46, of Princeton died at 12:07 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria. Born Oct. 15, 1969, in Princeton to James Russell and Sue A. (Wright) Wright, he married Tanya L. Lingenfelser Dec. 12, 2009, in Princeton. She survives. He graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School in 1987 and served as an E-5 in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Bureau County Christian Center in Princeton. Also surviving are his mother, Sue A. Wright of Spring Valley; one brother, Mark N. Wright of Spring Valley; two sisters, Kris (Cole) Huetteman of Seatonville and Melody (Jeremy) Wrotny of LaSalle; 16 nieces and nephews; and three great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death his father, James Russell Wright. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the Bureau County Christian Center, Princeton, with the Rev. Ray Lail officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with military rites conducted by Princeton American Legion Post 125. Memorials may be directed to his family.
