Jack Arlie Erickson, 88, of Princeton passed away at 12:10 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Born Dec. 21, 1924, in Ohio, Ill., to John and Tillie (Miller) Erickson, he married Betty E. Foster April 4, 1948, in Princeton. She died Jan. 4, 2006. He was a graduate of Bureau Township High School. He had been employed as a supervisor at LCN Door Closers in Princeton. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Princeton, Princeton V.F.W. and Princeton American Legion Post 125. He was a Mason. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II and Korea. Surviving are three daughters, Pamela Erickson of Princeton, Jill (Kevin) Bullington of Princeton and Tami (Jim) Zawacki of Princeton; one son, Alan Erickson of Princeton; three grandchildren, Shaun (Angela) Bullington of Princeton, Hannah Erickson of Princeton and Trace Erickson of Princeton; one great-grandson, John Thomas Bullington of Princeton; one great-granddaughter, Lily Marie Bullington of Princeton; three sisters, Alice Morris of Princeton, Helen (Gary) Vaughn of Princeton and Elsie Jackson of Dover; one brother, Robert Erickson of Princeton; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Art and Russell Erickson; and three sisters, Martha Hoffman, Minnie Shipp and Margaret Schaill. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with Pastor John Erickson officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton, with military rites conducted by Princeton American Legion Post 125. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the donor''s choice.
