Inez F. Johnson, 93, of East Peoria, formerly of Bradford, passed away at 4:09 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born Sept. 11, 1918, in Wetonka, S.D., to Charles and Mary E. (Stansell) Tuller. She married Ralph C. Johnson on April 14, 1948, in Corbin, Ky. He survives in East Peoria. Also surviving are two daughters, Susan Sublette of Columbus, Ind., and Alice (Jim) Bremner of Washington, Ill.; one son, Harry (Diane) Johnson of Peoria; nephew, John (Paula) Eberly of Colleyville, Texas; six grandchildren, John Bremner of Woodstock, Ga., James Bremner of Marietta, Ga., Kelli Johnson of Savannah, Ga., Marci Johnson of Peoria, Ill., Chris Eberly of Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., and Andrea Eberly of Denton, Texas; one sister, Irene Patteson of Wheaton, Ill.; one brother, Harold (Geri) Tuller of Newberg, Ore.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Johnson graduated from Batavia High School in Batavia, Iowa. She also graduated from Idaho Business University. She worked as a receptionist for the Iowa State Department of Social Welfare. She was very involved in the First Baptist Church of Bradford as a member, pianist, singing in the choir, taught vacation Bible school and Benevolence Treasure. Services will be Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Bradford at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Frank Brozenec officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Osceola Grove Cemetery in rural Bradford. Pallbearers will be family members. Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church of Bradford.
