Helen Warren, 92, of Princeton, formerly of Sheffield, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Liberty Village of Princeton. Born July 15, 1922, in Greensburg, Ky., to Elige and Nancy (DeSpain) McCubbin, she married Eddie Warren Oct. 19, 1955, in Greensburg, Ky. He died Feb. 15, 2000. She was a seamstress for Morris Foundations in Buda. She was a member of the Sheffield Historical Society and New Beginnings Assembly of God in Manlius. Surviving are three daughters, Carolyn (Jerry) Miller of Rockford, Barb (Russ) Wagner of Sheffield and Sheila (Ron) Yepsen of Sheffield; six grandchildren, Lisa (Steve) Broyles of Alpharetta, Ga., Amanda Miller of London, England, Calvin (Patty) Wagner of Coal City, Becky (Brent) Barnett of Kewanee, Quentin (Ann) Yepsen of Thomasville, Ga., and Justin (Tonya) Yepsen of Sheffield; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; one sister, Mary Jane Dile of Aurora; and one brother, Harold (Rose) McCubbin of Greensburg, Ky. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and six brothers, Carl, Emery, Willard, Russell, Dee and Harland McCubbin. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with Pastor Becky Barnett officiating. Burial will be in the Sheffield Cemetery, Sheffield. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to New Beginnings Assembly of God and the Sheffield Historical Society.
