Helen "Peggy" L Tumbleson

Helen L. "Peggy" Tumbleson, 96, of Kewanee died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Royal Oaks Care Center in Kewanee. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Bradford City Cemetery, Bradford. There will be no visitation. The Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Wyanet is in charge of arrangements. Born May 30, 1914, Minnesota to Harry and Lillian (Swearingen) Wisker, she married Phillip Burt Tumbleson in Iowa. He died in 1965. Surviving are Gary Tumbleson of Kewanee. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister. Memorials may be directed to the Buda Fire Department or Buda Rescue Unit.
