Harriet M Scott

Harriet M. Scott, 83, of Bradford died at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at her home. Born June 21, 1927, in Milo, Ill., to Harry and Sarah (Chasteen) Vest, she married Donald L. "Jack" Scott Dec. 14, 1950, in Toulon. He died Feb. 19, 1999. She was a 1942 graduate of Bradford High School. She was the owner and operator of Scott''s Cafe in Bradford prior to retiring. Surviving are four daughters, JoLynn Scott of Bradford, MaryCarol (Steven) Stange of Corydon, Ind., Jayne (David Hasler) Scott of Peoria and Peggy Scott of Bradford; two grandchildren, Nathan Stange of Corydon, Ind., and Benjamin Stange of Chicago; and several cousins. She was also preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles. Private services will be held and cremation rites will be accorded.
