Harold John Miller

Harold John Miller, 81 of Wyanet, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Liberty Village in Princeton, IL.  Harold was born on September, 17, 1941, in Gold Township to parents, Harold "Fat" and Wilhelmenia "Minnie" (Conley) Miller. 

He married Susan ( Hand) on May 17, 2003 in Elizabeth, IL.  Harold graduated in 1959 from Manlius High School. 

He started his career at Sterling Wire Steel Mill in Sterling IL., as a crane operator. Harold then enjoyed over 30 years of farming in the Manlius and Mineral area and in Wisconsin.  He was also the owner-operator of Hillview and The Grove  Mobile Home Parks in Princeton.  He was the happiest whenever he was able to spend time with his family. He spent most of his spare time with his grand and great-grand children, teaching them all he knew about golf, swimming and hunting.   He was known as a soft-hearted man, who is also leaving behind his other "kids", his cats. 

Harold is survived by his wife, Susan, his children, Timothy J. (Karla) Miller, Coleen (Steven) Van Kerrebroeck, Steven Miller, 6 grandchildren, Travis (Kaliesha) Miller, Ashley (Travis) Schier, Brandon (Nicole) Van Kerrebroeck, Rachael (Nick) Bies, Jennifer Miller, Dennison Miller and 6 great-grandchildren and his brother, Gary "Spike" Miller.  He was preceded in death by his brother Herb Miller, his sister, Linda Anderson and nephew Mark.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 10-11:00am, funeral at 11:00am at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton, IL.  Burial will be at the Manlius Cemetery.  Pastor Darin Jones will be officiating.  Memorials may be directed to his family.
