Gregory K. Dabler, 63, of Wyanet died Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria from a farm-related accident.

He was born April 1, 1956, in Princeton, the son of Gerald and Inez (Tyng) Dabler. He married Kay Twidell on March 28, 1975, in Princeton. She survives.

Greg graduated from Manlius High School with the Class of 1974 and from Blackhawk College East Campus in 1976.

Greg was a lifelong farmer and retired from the Walmart Distribution Center in Spring Valley after 18 years of employment there.

He was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Manlius, where he was a deacon, trustee and moderator. Greg enjoyed spending time with his family, family vacations and traveling. He liked tractor pulls and collecting farm toys.

Also surviving are one son, Jerome (Dawn) Dabler of Wyanet; one daughter, Andrea (Carl) Angier of Dixon; four grandchildren, Alexandra Dabler of Godfrey, Garret Dabler of Wyanet, and Wyatt and Cole Angier, both of Dixon; one sister, Nancy (Marvin) Hartz of Tampico; his mother-in law, Margaret Twidell; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one nephew, Jeffrey Hartz; and numerous family and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the First Baptist Church of Manlius with the Rev. Robert Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery of the First Baptist Church of Manlius.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be divided up to the family's discretion to various organizations.
