Gloria J. Hopper

Gloria J. Hopper, 88, formerly of Princeton, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022. Gloria was born on February 15, 1934 in Henry, Illinois to James Albert and Ella (Hall) Ellis. She graduated Princeton High School in 1952. Gloria married Arnold Rodseth on March 8, 1952. She later married Leo A. Hopper of Princeton on May 19, 1987. She worked at Harper-Wyman in Princeton for 33 years and retired in 1989.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Mike Shaw, and her husband Leo on August 7, 2011.
She is survived by 2 sons: Bradley (Carol) Rodseth of Minonk, Il., Kevin (Debra ) Rodseth of Minnesota; one step-son Chad Hopper of Marseilles, Il.; a step-daughter Kelly (Chad) Hunt of Bluegrass, Ia.; 4 grandchildren: Jennifer (Bradley) Hoven of Minnesota.; Brian (Deborah) Rodseth of Normal, Il.; Cameron Rodseth of Peoria, Il.; and Stephanie Rodseth of Mazon, Il., as well as 3 step-grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling, her cat and being a member of the New Hope Church of the Nazarene and former member of Ladies of the Moose.
Services for Gloria will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 18, 2022 at Summers Chapel in Princeton, Illinois with Pastor Laura Tanner officiating.
