Geraldine B. Pruitt

       Geraldine Hanson Pruitt, 98, of  Tiskilwa, Illinois, passed away on December 24, 2022. Geraldine was born to parents Roy and Lillian Hanson on November 24, 1924 in Manlius, Illinois. Geraldine graduated from Bureau Township High School in 1942. She married Floyd Pruitt in September 5, 1970. She was employed at Citizens Bank in Princeton, Il. for 30 years and retired in 1981.

            Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Lillian(VanDeusen) Hanson and her husband Floyd and  2 brothers Harold Hanson and Calvin "Bud" Hanson.

            She is survived by her twin sister Genevieve Hanson Cummins, step children; Joe (Kathy) Pruitt, Jan Pruitt Lohaus (Jim Sweetman), a step grandson Paul Taylor, a niece, many nephews, great-nieces and nephews and step-great grandchildren.

            Services for Geraldine will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30 2022 at Tiskilwa Community Church in Tiskilwa, Illinois. Pastor Renee Kindle will be officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. at Tiskilwa Community Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Bloom Cemetery in Tiskilwa. Memorials may be directed to Tiskilwa Community Church.
