George David Duffield

PRINCETON — George David Duffield, 56, of Princeton passed away at 4:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, at Heritage Health Manor in Walnut. Dave was born March 18, 1961, in Kewanee, the son of George and Helen (Carter) Duffield. He graduated from Princeton High School with the Class of 1979. He shared his various trade experiences around the area for many years in the field of residential construction. He loved golf, watching NASCAR and his grandkids. Surviving are his mother, Helen Duffield of Florida; his wife, Theresa Duffield of Virginia; two children, Justin (Yolanda) Duffield of Texas and Stephanie Duffield of Illinois; five grandchildren, Anthony, Kevin, Kalai, Isabella and Camille; one brother, Kevin (Cindy) Duffield of Pennsylvania; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Cremation rites will be accorded and a private memorial will be held at a later. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor''s choice in Dave''s name. The Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton is assisting the family.
