Frederick Dale Sapp, 68, of Wyanet died at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, at Liberty Village of Princeton. Born April 5, 1943, in Spring Valley to Delbert and Adeline (Anderson) Sapp, he married Ann L. Lorenzen Aug. 28, 1966, in Princeton. She survives. He worked for B.F. Goodrich Chemical in Henry for 34 years. He served in the Illinois National Guard in Kewanee. He was a social member of Wyanet V.F.W. 6634, the Wyanet Historical Society and St. Matthew''s Lutheran Church in Princeton. Also surviving are one son, Brian (Tami) Sapp of Littleton, Colo.; and three sisters, Barbara (Bill) Kosanke of Ocean Isle, N.C., Joyce (Dick) Genslinger of Princeton, Judy Roth of Ocseola, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry and James Sapp. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Jeff Schlesinger officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with military rites conducted by Wyanet V.F.W. Post 6634. Memorials may be directed to St. Matthew''s Lutheran Church in Princeton or the donor''s choice.
Our sincere condolences for your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time of deep sadness. We have such good memories of times we have been in the company of Fred. Wonderful man! He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
