Frances Margaret Kelly

Frances Margaret Kelly, 87, of Bradford , Illinois , passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Courtyard Estates, Bradford , Illinois . She was born on May 10, 1922, to Albert & Minnie (Weerts) Schaefer in Princeton , Illinois . She married James H. Kelly on November 29, 1941 in Camp Grove , Illinois . He passed away March 24, 1988. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1939 and attended St. Francis School of Nursing in Peoria , Illinois . She was a homemaker and a Postal Clerk for Bradford Post office where she retired in 1987. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Bradford, the Bradford Alter and Rosary and taught CCD. She is survived by a daughter Margaret (Lynn) Ferris of Bradford; 2 sons James (Marge) Kelly of Morton, IL, Mike Kelly of Chandler, AZ; daughter in-law, Karen Kelly of Bradford, IL; 3 brothers, LeRoy (Virginia) Schaefer of Deforest, WI, Willard (Norma) Yarde of Mesa, AZ, Art (Mary) May of Vancouver, WA; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Eleanor, daughter Janet Burns and son David Kelly Visitation will be from 9:30 -11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 20th at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Bradford , funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. following the visitation Burial will be at St. John Catholic Cemetery , Bradford . Memorials may be directed to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Building Fund or Bradford Rescue Squad.
