Edward R. Vladika, 81, of Princeton died at 6:12 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Born July 14, 1933, in Chicago to James and Emily (Syroka) Vladika, he married Peggy Jo Best Aug. 25, 1956, in Princeton. She survives. He graduated from high school. He worked at Jostens as a tool and die maker for 47 years. He was a member of St. Matthew''s Lutheran Church in Princeton. Also surviving are one son, Timothy (Patty) Vladika of Princeton; one daughter, Katina Vladika of Lakeland, Fla; five grandchildren, Amy (Aaron) Christiansen of Princeton, Timothy (Abby) Vladika of Princeton, Ryan Prochaska of Davenport, Iowa, Travis Prochaska of Davenport, Iowa, and Trenton Prochaska of Wyanet; three great-grandchildren, Augie Christiansen, Ace Christiansen and Wyatt Vladika, all of Princeton; one brother, Robert Vladika of Shorewood; two sisters-in-law, Emily Hlavin of Lombard and Karen Taylor; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Len Hlavin. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 7, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with Pastor Scott Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton. Memorials may be directed to St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Princeton.
So sorry for your loss. Just remember all the good times you two had. They will sustain you during this time.
