Douglas R. Hoffman, 60, of Princeton died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at his home. Born March 15, 1949, in Harvard, Ill., to Raymond C. and Ilene (Schroeder) Hoffman, he married Janice Hamm in Tucson, Ariz. They divorced. He then married Connie S. Warren Nov. 6, 1987, in Princeton. She survives. He was a graduate of Ohio High School and a truck driver for Ace Hardware Distribution in Princeton. He served in the U.S. Air Force from Jan. 20, 1969, to Dec. 27, 1971. He was a member of Princeton Moose Lodge 1339. Also surviving are three sons, Craig (Katrina) Hoffman and Brandon Kinsley, both of Princeton, and Kevin Hoffman of Ohio, Ill.; three daughters, Stacey (Scott) Mecum of Kasbeer, Shannon Kinsley of Princeton and Nicole Kinsley of Mendota; three sisters, Becky (Jake) Frizzel of Phoenix, Ariz., Sandy Martz of St. Augustine, Fla., and Brenda (Mike) Lemon of Princeton; two brothers, Larry Antonsen of Green Bay, Wis., and Robert McKinnon of McDonough, Ga.; and two granddaughters, Kristina Wright of Gaylord, Mich., and Mackenzie Hoffman of Mendota. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Shirley McEnaney and Judy Meier; and two brothers, Evie Antonsen and twin Ken Pierce. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. David Berry officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Ohio, Ill., with military rites conducted by the Princeton Veterans Group and Wyanet VFW Post 6634. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the donor''s choice.
