Dorothy Carol Herbert

Dorothy Carol Herbert, 67, of Kewanee, formerly of Buda, passed away at 8:03 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Kewanee Hospital in Kewanee. She was born Jan. 7, 1945, in Princeton to Kenneth and Mildred (Parker) Herbert. Surviving are one sister, Wanda Cooper; and one nephew, William Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and an infant brother. She received her eight-grade diploma. She began at Abilities Plus Day Program in 1991 and later moved to Abilities Plus Group Home in 2004. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Katie Voigt officiating. Burial will be in Hopeland Cemetery, Buda. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Memorials may be directed to the donor''s choice.
