Dorothy Arlene Flint, 91, of Buda died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at Liberty Village of Princeton. Born April 25, 1919, in Buda to Tann and Lulu (Van Sickle) Marquis, she married Marion Wade Flint Sept. 15, 1938, in Buda. He died Feb. 2, 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of Bunker Hill Church of God in Buda. Surviving are three sons, Larry (Dianne) Flint of Hudson, Gerald (Mindy) Flint of Calamus, Iowa, and Dennis Flint of Elk Grove; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Thomas) Crown of San Antonio, Texas, Amy (Joshua) Spalding of San Antonio, Texas, and Tara (Joe Farmer) Flint of Miami, Fla.; one great-grandson, Lincoln Spalding of San Antonio, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Gwenavier Spalding of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Wilma Ulrich of Bradenton, Fla., Loretta (Robert) McKay of Sheffield and Beverly (Gordon) Danielson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and one brother, Darrell (Colleen) Marquis of Wyanet. She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son, Marion Wade Flint; three brothers, Carl, Kenneth and Donald Marquis; and one sister, Marie Yoder. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bunker Hill Church of God, Buda, with the Rev. Fred Criminger officiating. Burial will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery, Buda. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Buda Rescue Squad and Bunker Hill Church of God.

your mom was a special lady, I remember her well when I was growning up, she was always there at all our grade school events and had a nice smile and was very kind to me. She will be missed.

Larry, I read your mother’s obit. in the paper when visiting my sister in Tiskilwa this Christmas. It’s difficult to loose a mother no matter what the age. Thinking of you.
