Donna J Ratliff

Donna J. (Hartz) Ratliff, 90, of Quincy, formerly of Sheffield, Illinois died July 23, 2017 at the Illinois Veteran''s Home in Quincy, Illinois. She was born December 10, 1926 in Manlius Township to James W. and Stella (Lowderman) Hartz. She married Harold W. Ratliff June 21, 1945 at her home in Manlius Township. He preceded her in death January 9, 2010. She was a 1944 graduate of Manlius Township High School and had worked at Kraft Foods and Barcol Overdoors of Sheffield. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manlius, having served on the Altar Guild. She also served as a trustee of Gold Township for several years. Survivors include one daughter, Cynthia (Thomas) Foes of Annawan; 3 granddaughters; 3 grandsons and 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 1 son, Jim, 2 sisters and 1 nephew. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manlius, with Pastor Dan Stalker, officiating. Inurnment will take place in Manlius Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manlius, or the Manlius Cemetery Association.
