Donald G. Hedgepath, 80, of Bradford, Illinois passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

 He was born November 6, 1941 in Sullivan, Kentucky the son of Roy and Wilma (Goforth) Hedgepath.

 Donald married Lois Forbes September 8, 1961 in Aurora, Illinois. They shared 60 years together. She survives in Bradford.

 He is also survived by four children: Daniel (Patricia) Hedgepath of Bradford, Donna Hoskins of Port Charlotte, Florida, Michelle (Chris) Shay of Peoria, and Rodney (Susan) Hedgepath of Washington, Illinois; four grandchildren: Joshua (Sarah) Hedgepath, Luke Hedgepath, Matt Hedgepath, and Alyssa (Tyler) Michael; one great-granddaughter, Areyana Hedgepath; six step-grandchildren: Rebecca (Justin) Gosch, Ryan Brinker, Joel (Kelli) Brinker, Alex (Mikkell) Brinker, Jasmine Kowitz, and Katelyn Kowitz; nine step-great-grandchildren: Carter Brinker, Jasper Brinker, Sophia Cantrell, Rosalie Brinker, Mille Brinker, Maverick Brinker, Hudson Brinker, Johnathan (Lee Ann) Gosch, and Thomas Gosch; two sisters: Frances Carter of Naples, Florida and Joyce Lutz of Naples, Florida; and two brothers: Jerry Hedgepath of Orlando, Florida and Rick Hedgepath of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Donald was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Roy Hedgepath, Chuck Polk, and Jimmy Hedgepath; and one sister, Wanda Hedgepath in infancy.

 He was a longtime truck driver.

 Donald loved animals, riding motorcycles, and watching wrestling. He especially loved trucking and a shiny truck.

 A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Bradford, Illinois. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the funeral home following the visitation with Pastor Jan Ringenberg officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded after the service and a private burial will be held at the Osceola Grove Cemetery in rural Bradford.
