Dennis Earl Lampkin, 65, of Buda, IL passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at his home.

Dennis was born on March 14, 1958 in Princeton, IL the son of George Eugene Lampkin and Jane T. (Brieser) Lampkin. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1976. Dennis attended Southern Illinois University where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree. He worked for Ace Hardware Distribution Center for many years prior to his retirement.  Dennis was an avid sports fan especially Chicago White Sox’s and Notre Dame Football. He also enjoyed golfing, but most of all spending time with his family.

Dennis is survived by his three children, Clarence “Clae” (Leslyan) Lampkin of Sheffield, Caroline “Carlie” Lampkin of Jenks, OK and Christian “Christie” Lampkin of Lasalle; his mother, Jane Lampkin of Tucson, AZ; three siblings, Debbie (John) Macko of Tucson, AZ, Doug Lampkin of Phoenix, AZ and Dean (Sue) Lampkin of Tucson, AZ; one niece, Barbara; two nephews, George William and John.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A Memorial Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00am on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, 30 West Mechanic Street Princeton, IL with Lisa Bloom, officiating. Burial of cremated remains will immediately follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wyanet, IL.

Memorials may be made to Princeton High School Athletics.
