Deloris Irene Nelson 68, of Wyoming, IL passed away December 3, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Born on June 23, 1945 to Charles & Zelda (Burton) Hegwood in Kewanee, IL. She married James Nelson on August 22, 1998 in Kansas City, MO. He survives. Also surviving, former husband, Kenneth Stoller of Camdenton, MO; two daughters, Gail Mulvaney of Peoria, Glenda (Michael) Murray of Wyoming, one son, Kenneth (Jeanette) Stoller of Bay City, MI; seven grandchildren, Sarah (Brandon) Fluitt of San Antonio, TX, Ginette Petty of Chicago, Jaclyn Petty of Wyoming, James Orwig of Peoria, Kaitlyn Murray of Wyoming, Kourtni and Heather Stoller of Bay City, MI; six step-grandchildren, Dawn (Kyle) Steel, Amber (David) Utt, Stephanie Mulvaney, Jennifer (Joe) Gleason, Megan (Ron) Lock, Glen Mulvaney; one great-grandson, London Sain; ten step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Janet (Donald) Ferris of Castleton, Maryjayne Hegwood of Chicago, Debbie (Kevin) Burnett of Galva, Laura (Kirk) Bay of Byron, GA, one brother, Kevin Hegwood of Chicago; Sister-in-law, Pam (Gary) Jurgemeyer of Fair Play, CO; brother-in-law, Ralph Dickinson; former brother-in-law, Ronald (Debbie) Stoller of Sunrise Beach, MO; former sister-in-law, Kathy Stoller of Lamar, MO; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Betty Ann Dickinson, former brother-in-law, Richard Stoller and two infant brothers Samuel (Sammy) and William (Billy). Deloris attended Wethersfield High School, Kewanee, IL. She worked in retail management and retired from Wal-Mart, Overland Park, KA and Phillip''s 66 Kansas City, MO and also had worked for Illinois Valley Cellular, Wyoming and Dairy Queen, Kewanee. Member of Bradford, Kansas City and Bay City Apostolic Christian Churches. Services will be December 7, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Bradford Apostolic Christian Church with the ministers of the church officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Bradford and also 9:00-9:45 am prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to Bradford Apostolic Christian Church.

  1. Dear Gail and Glenda- I wanted so much to be at your dear mother’s visitation tonight – however I was on call at OSF and had to stay over through the evening for patient care. I am so very sorry for your loss. You can be assured I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Even though we see each other infrequently, you are all special to my heart.
