Deborah “Debbie” Rae Lindberg, 74, of Princeton, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Allure of Walnut in Walnut, Illinois.

Debbie was born on February 11, 1952, the daughter of Raymond Arnold and Alice Frances (Barilow) Larson Sr. She graduated from Fenton High School with the Class of 1970. On January 30, 1971, she married Neil E. Lindberg in Bensenville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2018.

Prior to moving to Princeton with her husband in 1998 to be closer to family, Debbie worked in food service at an elementary school. Together, they built their home in Princeton and shared many cherished memories there before Neil’s passing. After relocating, Debbie worked as an Event Coordinator for the Bureau County Senior Center until her retirement in 2018.

Debbie was a longtime member of First Lutheran Church in Princeton, as well as a member of the Princeton Moose Lodge. She generously volunteered her time with the Princeton Closet, the local food pantry, and the Special Olympics Prom.

She is survived by her daughter, Keri (Kris) Komorn of North Aurora; her grandson, Rece (Johnny Bassil) Komorn; and her twin brother, Raymond (Jean) Larson Jr. of Port St. John, Florida.

In addition to her husband, Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Donald and Larry Larson.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at First Lutheran Church in Princeton, with Pastor Bill Shields officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association.
