Darrell Q. Cooper, 82, of Princeton, Illinois went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 6, 2022.

 He was born February 6, 1940 in Harrisburg, Arkansas the son of George and Ruth (Honey) Cooper.  

 Darrell married Annie Seabourn on November 18, 1958 in Harrisburg, Arkansas. They shared 63 years together. She survives in Princeton.

 He is also survived by five children: Darrell (Mirasol) Cooper, Jr. of Sterling, Illinois, Lisa Sommers of Princeton, Illinois, Sondra (Don) Heidenreich of Walnut, Illinois, David (Jennifer) Cooper of Dixon, Illinois, and Dawn (Art) Ianuzzi of Tampa, Florida; eight grandchildren: Paige (Alan) Hornung, Cody Sommers, Jordan Sommers, Andrea (J.D.) Erickson, Ashley (Mark) McPhillips, Cole (Jenn) Cooper, Brittany Lewis and Lindsay Ianuzzi; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  

 He was preceded in death by his parents, 12 siblings, and one granddaughter, Sarah Cooper.

 Darrell was a member of the Nazarene Church in Sterling, Illinois and he loved to share his Christian faith. While living in Florida, Darrell was active in prison ministries.

 He was a jack of all trades, who liked to tinker on things and he enjoyed time with his family.   

 Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be directed to the Sterling First Church of the Nazarene in Darrell's memory. Online condolences may be sent to www.grant-johnsonfh.com.
