Cory Michael Stocking

Cory Stocking, 37, of Princeton, IL, passed away on February 15, 2023

Cory was born January 14, 1986 in Princeton, IL, to parents, Gregory Eugene Stocking and LuAnn (Lorenzen) Stocking. 

Cory is survived by his parents, Greg (Penny) Stocking and LuAnn (Terry) Ferrari of Princeton, his sister, Samantha (Adam Klein) Hobson, Princeton, his paternal grandmother, Joanne Lucille Stocking, Princeton, nieces', Mariah and Ava Hobson, Princeton, step-brother, Aaron Laney, Princeton, step-sisters, Lauren Ferrari, Princeton and Alison Ferrari of Lahaina, Hawaii.  He is also survived by his 2 cats, Dude and Bort.

Cory was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Douglas and Norma Lorenzen, and his paternal grandfather, Floyd "Eugene" Stocking and his cat, Special Agent Jack Bauer, AKA " Cat."

Cory graduated from Princeton High School in 2004.  Cory worked at Flat River group in Peru.  He was known for his great sense of humor,  his vast knowledge of trivia and his hilarious text threads between his friends and him.  Cory loved sports and music and was always there for all of his niece's events.  He loved his family dearly and they take much comfort in knowing that he's at peace and now wrapped in God's arms. 

Cremation rites will be accorded and the family is planning a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 1-4:00pm, at the Princeton Moose Lodge.  Memorials may be directed to the family.
