Corey Robert Moodie, 33, of Bradford died at 6:35 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Ottawa Hospital in Ottawa. Born Dec. 5, 1978, in Peoria to Chip and Jody (Jones) Moodie, he married Wendy Sue Schupp April 6, 2002, in Buda. She survives. He was a 1997 graduate of Bradford High School and received his master''s degree in computer science. He was employed by Pearl Tech in Peoria Heights. He was a Bradford Village Board trustee, a bass player for Short Live Fun, and an avid fisherman/hunter. Also surviving are one son, Lane Moodie of Bradford; one daughter, Haylie Moodie of Bradford; his parents; Chip and Jody Moodie; his grandmothers, Betty "Nonee" Moodie of Bradford and LuCinda Jones of Burlington, N.C.; two brothers, Aaron (Tiffany Terry) Moodie of Lacon and Matthew (Jennifer Robbins) Moodie of Medford, Wis.; and five nieces and nephews, Weston Schupp, Tayler Gage, Wyatt Schupp, Whitney Schupp and Bridget Moodie, Baby Moodie on the way. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Moodie and William Jones. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Bunker Hill Church of God, Buda. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Bradford. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to an education fund for the children of Corey R. Moodie. Pallbearers: Aaron Moodie, Matthew Moodie, Brock Colgan, Dustin Efnor, Weston Schupp, Jan Gage and Jimmy Schupp. Honorary Pallbearers: Dave Ferman, Tayler Gage, Dave Davis, Mark Koehler, Brian Hoover and Steve Witte.
