Cleo Anna Markley, 78, of Princeton, IL passed away on October 8, 2024 at Goldwater Care in Princeton.
Cleo was born on February 23, 1946 in Princeton, IL the daughter of John and Maxine (Haszler) Clodfelter, Jr. She married Laurence E. Markley, Sr. on February 15, 1963. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2013. Cleo worked for Harper-Wyman for many years prior to her retirement.
Survivors include two children, Laurie (Rick) Ar of Bradenton, FL and Laurence (Stacy) Markley, Jr of Princeton, IL; eight grandchildren, Tonya Hotchkiss, Cory Gebhart, Ashley Arnold, Kaylie Turner, Jonathan Helander, Brittany Helander, Cory Miller, Devon Miller and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandchild, Eric Gebhart.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
