Charles Edward Brown

Charles “Charlie” Edward Brown, 25, of New Bedford, IL passed away on Wednesday, May, 22, 2024 in New Bedford.

Charlie was born on July 22, 1998 in Spring Valley, IL the son of John and Janice (Harper) Brown. He worked for V & C Construction Co. Inc in Walnut, IL prior to his passing. Charlie enjoyed being outdoors either hunting, fishing or camping. Most of all he loved spending time with his children and family.

He is survived by his fiancé, Sydney Lally; three children, Brayden Lally, Baila Brown and Booker Brown all of New Bedford, IL; his parents, John and Janice Brown of Wyanet; sister, Courtney Davis; brother John Humphery; two nephews, Dylan Harper and Gabriel Davis; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Harper; paternal grandparents, Charles Brown and Phyllis Henry; maternal grandparents, Lewis and Opal Harper.

A memorial visitation will be 5:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, June 6th, 2024 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton. Private Graveside Service will be on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wyanet with Gaile Arnold, officiating. Burial of cremated remains will immediately follow. Cremation Rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Sydney Lally and the children.
