Carl Orloff

Carl Orloff, 73, of Princeton died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at his home in Princeton. Born Feb. 20, 1943, in Chicago, the son of Albert and Sara (Teichman) Orloff, he married Frances "Fran" Sellaro July 15, 1967, in Chicago. She survives. He worked as a desk clerk at the Super 8 in Princeton and held various accounting jobs. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Princeton. Also surviving are one sister, Joanne Polidoro of Princeton; four nieces, Sara Polidoro of Princeton, Marissa Shreve of Piqua, Ohio, Morgan Shadle of Princeton and Sherri Corbin of Arizona; and two nephews, John McGuire of Naperville and Steven McGuire of Berwin. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Princeton with Pastor Scott Schmidt officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded by the Grant-Johnson Funeral Homes, Inc. Visitation will be held prior to the services, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the church.
