Calista Sophia Hall
August 21, 1999 ~ July 22, 2020
It is with a broken heart that we are mourning the loss of our beloved Calista. We are still numb from the shock of losing her so soon but blessed to have had her in our lives for almost 21 short years.
Calistsa Sophia Hall was born to Mike and Alisa Hall on August 21, 1999 at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley, IL. She was a 2017 graduate of Princeton High School. She recently was attending Educators of Beauty in Peru, IL.
Calista enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She loved hanging out with her friends and family, especially with Isabela, her best friend and little sister. She also loved talking for hours at a time with her three older brothers--Brody, Rocky, and Zach.
She loved music, cooking, and reading. She loved nature and the universe. So much so, she has a tattoo of a girl holding a bunch of balloons that represented all of the planets--a reminder of all the potential that she held in her hands. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She always had time to listen to other people's problems.
Cali is survived by her parents, Mike and Alisa; three brothers, Brody (and Ellie) Hall, Rocky (and Tamara) Brown, and Zach Brown; sister, Isabela Hall; beloved cat (furry-baby), Yoda; grandmother, Charlotte Henderson; niece, Margaret; nephew, Brian; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Please join Calista's family for an outdoor celebration of life service in memory of Calista Sophia Hall, this Sunday, August 2nd at 1:30 p.m. at the New Hope Church pavilion and grounds, 30 N. 6th St. Princeton, IL. Officiant, Pastor Laura Root-Tanner. BYOC-- Bring your own (lawn) chair-- to sit on the grounds or listen on-site from your car on the FM station provided. There will be a butterfly release at the end of the service.
