Bryant D. Corrie

Bryant D. Corrie, 52, of Princeton, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Bryant was born on October 7, 1973, in New London, Connecticut, to Robert and Sandra (Armstrong) Corrie. He graduated from Chaparral High School in El Cajon, California.

On September 30, 2000, Bryant married the love of his life, Katrina Foster, at the Horton Grand in San Diego, California. Together they built a life filled with love and adventure, and were blessed with their son, Hunter.

Bryant, Katrina, and Hunter shared a passion for scuba diving that began with a Cub Scout adventure. What started as a family activity grew into a lifelong tradition, taking them on diving trips throughout the United States, including Key Largo, San Diego, and destinations across Florida. These travels created countless cherished memories together.

Bryant was an avid sports fan who faithfully cheered for the Chicago Bears and the New York Yankees. He loved giving back to his community by coaching youth soccer and baseball, and he was actively voluntold with the Princeton Elks Lodge during its years of operation. Bryant will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love for his family, and his willingness to support those around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Katrina Corrie, and his son, Hunter Corrie, his fathers, Robert “Bob” Corrie; and Jim Twombley; his sisters, Vanessa Garlough, Carolina Bump, and Natalia Twombley; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bryant was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Corrie, and his sister, Nicole Corrie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the Princeton Moose Lodge.
