Brandon N. Bickett, 30, of Tiskilwa died Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, in Denver, Colo. He was born Jan. 25, 1986, the son of Tom and Kelley Bickett. He graduated from Princeton High School with the Class of 2004. He formerly worked at Caterpillar and currently at ITC Incorporated. He enjoyed golfing and cars and the outdoors, including fishing and hunting, and his friends and family. Surviving are his parents, Tom (Janice) Bickett of Tiskilwa and Kelley Bickett of Princeton; his mother, Stacy Larabee of Pekin; two brothers, Adam (Malinda) Bickett of Wyanet and Noah Bickett of Tiskilwa; one sister, Elaina Bickett of Princeton; a brother, Brad Kelly of Pekin; his paternal grandmother, Nancy Bickett of Tiskilwa; grandparents, John (Maria) Larabee; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roger Bickett; paternal grandfather, Floyd Bickett; maternal grandparents, Jim and Sharon Randall. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the New Hope of the Nazarene Church in Princeton with Pastor Laura Root-Tanner officiating. A time of sharing will be held prior to the service on Saturday, from 8 to 10 a.m., at the church. Memorials may be directed to Young Life of Bureau County or Teen Missions International.

  1. My prayers go out to Brandon’s family & friends, who probably like me, can’t comprehend this tragedy at such a young age. I have had the pleasure of working with Brandon at Caterpillar. A bright, conscientious, and affable young man who many here at the plant turned towards to solve problems. He will be missed. God bless you, Brandon.

Could always turn too him for a little machine shop advice and a laugh when the day just wasn’t going right.
