Bonnie Kay Arnold, 79, of Buda passed away on Monday,Sept. 20, 2021, at her home surrounded by family.
She was born Sept. 1, 1942, in Princeton to George and Irene (Heward) Hewitt. She married Ronald Arnold Aug. 19, 1961, in Buda.
She worked at Kraft Foods in Manlius and Barcol Overdoor in Sheffield. She retired from Bureau Valley South in Buda where she was the cafeteria manager. She was a Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoyed golfing.
She is survived by her husband, Ron of Buda; three daughters, Becky (Shawn Harper) Kumer of East Peoria, Rita (Jerry Kenealy) Roberts of Kasbeer and Cindy (Kent) Harmon of Princeton; six grandchildren, Ian Kumer of East Peoria, Jared (Tracy) Kumer of East Peoria, Scott Roberts of Rockford, Nicholas Roberts of Wyanet, Kayla Frese of Buda and Cody (Amber) Lohman of LaSalle; seven great-grandchildren, Brayden Perry, Tyler Kumer, Beau and Rhett Kumer, Tyler and Valerie Frese, and Remy Lohman; one brother, Gary (Elaine) Hewitt of Princeton; one sister, Jan (Richard) Doty of Sheffield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by infant twins, Ray and Mae; and her parents.
A private family service will be held Friday, Sept. 24, with Gail Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Hopeland Cemetery in Buda.

Your mom was a beautiful lady, loved going to work at Bureau Valley South and seeing your mom, always was funny to see how she was doing at lunch time. She will be sadly missed her awesome smile ðŸ™
