Bonnie Ann Catton, 68, of Manlius, IL was taken home by God on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 2:30 a.m. in her home. Bonnie fought hard for 8 years with Stage 4 Kidney Disease. Bonnie was born October 14, 1949 in Macomb, IL. Her parents were Bill and Marian Foster of Princeton, IL and Charles and Anne Icenogle of Macomb, IL. Bonnie married Bill Catton on August 15, 1971 at Wyanet Congregational Church, Wyanet, IL. Bonnie graduated from Wyanet High School, Wyanet, IL. in 1968. She attended Marinatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, WI. Bonnie started working at age 16 as a CNA at Prairie View Nursing Home in Princeton, IL. Throughout the years she worked at Perry Memorial Hospital, Kewanee Hospital and Henry County Health Department in Kewanee, IL. She was an EMT for many years with the Buda Rescue Unit. Bonnie is survived by her husband Bill Catton of Manlius, IL and their four children: Shonna Smith (Robert) Ohio, IL; Jeremy Catton, Buda, IL; Chris Catton (Lisa) Manlius, IL; and Bill Catton (Sharon) Lonoke, AR. Bonnie was very proud of her grandchildren: Jazmine, Mike, Mercedes, Nick, Victoria, Colton and Sierra. Bonnie has several brothers and sisters: Jean Holmberg (Tom) North Carolina, Mary Kramer (Roger) Princeton, IL., Glen Foster, LaSalle, IL., Leo "Vern" Icenogle (Georgia) Augusta, IL. She has many nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceeded in death by her parents; brothers Merlin Foster, Ohio IL; Tom Icenogle, Arizona; Richard Icenogle, LaSalle, IL; and a sister Barbara Robinson, Utah. Funeral Services will be on Saturday June 9, 2018 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton, IL at 10:00 a.m. with Brian Frank officiating. Burial will follow in Hopeland Cemetery, Buda IL. Visitation will be on Friday June 8, 2018 from 5pm - 7pm at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton, IL. All memorials can be directed to the Buda Rescue, Manlius Rescue and American Kidney Foundation.

What a great lady! I babysat her kids when they were little. My parents were friends of her and Bill’s. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am sure mom and dad welcomed her on the other side.
Bonnie always had a smile and good attitude in high school! My deepest sympathy to Bill and the rest of her beautiful family of children and grandchildren. Rest in peace in the arms of Jesus, Bonnie!!
I am so sorry to hear this news of my cousin Bonnie. She always had such an upbeat personality and smile. I’m sorry that I cannot b there to see you all as I am in AZ. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief.
