Betty Lou Robbins, 75, of Bradford, Illinois died at 5:06 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Courtyard Estates, Bradford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Bradford with Father John Cyr and Deacon Bob Murphy Officiating. Burial will be in Chillicothe Cemetery, Chillicothe, Illinois. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Bradford, Illinois. A Rosary Service will be held 5:30 p.m. Thursday, prior to the visitation.
Betty was born February 12, 1943 in Lacon, IL the daughter of Philliip E. and Mary Lucille (Moore) Murphy. She married Virgil W. Robbins on January 27, 1962 in Lacon. He Survives in Bradford.
Also surviving 2 daughters: Kim (Rick) Hardy of Wyoming, IL and Theresa Jeffery of Putnam, IL; 2 sons: Ron (Mary) Robbins of Bradford and Don Robbins of Spring Valley, IL; 6 grandchildren: Jason (Lovely) Hardy of Wyoming, Tim (Sheena) Hardy of Wyoming, Jennifer (Matt) Moodie of Medford, WI, Bill (Rachel) Robbins of Chillicothe, IL, and Bo and Brock Jeffery of Putnam; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Joy (Bill) Smith of Sparland, IL and Vickie (Rod) Lucas of Chillicothe; 5 brothers: Phillip Murphy, Jr. of Sparland, Floyd (Pat) Murphy of South Carolina, Deacon Bob (Sharon) Murphy of Sparland, Joe (Judy) Murphy of Sparland, and Louie (Judy) Murphy of Sparland; 2 sisters-in law, Sandy Moore of Lacon, IL and Judy (Mark) Longman of Bradford and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Tucker Murphy, 2 sisters- in law, Barb Murphy and Mary “Whistle” Foley, brother-in law, John Moore, and her mother and father- in law.
Betty graduated from Sparland High School with the Class of 1961 and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Bradford, Alter and Rosary Society, and the Marshall-Putnam Quilt Guild.
Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Betty boo will always be missed here at Bradford courtyard . She is a very sweet woman . Hugs to her family . Betty was part of our family and always will be forever .
I got to know Betty when she attended St Mary’s Church in Tiskilwa. We work on serveral committee together. So sorry for your lost.
