Bernice Ann Conner

Bernice Ann Conner, 79, of Princeton, formerly of Ohio, Ill., died at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, at Liberty Village in Princeton. Born Aug. 5, 1937, in Princeton, the daughter of LeRoy and Bernice (Krieger) Norden, she married Orm Conner July 22, 1957, in Ohio, Ill. He survives. Ann graduated from Ohio High School with the Class of 1955. She was a homemaker for many years and later worked at Gustafson Hardware in Princeton for more than 20 years. She was a very active member of the First Lutheran Church in Ohio, serving in many capacities. She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening and scrapbooking. Also surviving are three children, Steve (Mendy) Conner of Ohio, Ill., Charlie (Denise) Conner of Dixon and Nancy (Tom) Dale of Geneseo; four grandchildren, Andrea (Brook) Meier, Allison (Jake) Harrison, Dylan Dale and Megan Dale; two great-grandchildren, Evie Meier and Ruby Harrison; one brother, Jerry (Cheryl) Norden; two sisters, Nancy (Stan) Iverson and Alice (Bob) Semlow; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Very sad to hear of Ann’s passing. She was our neighbor for a year and a half. We didn’t know her well, but she was a lovely lady.
