Beatrice “Bea” Cade, 75, of Princeton, Illinois passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.

She was born July 8, 1943 in Spring Valley, Illinois the daughter of Marcus and Mary Joan (Mannriquez) Barajas. Bea was raised in DePue, Illinois and graduated from Hall High School with the Class of 1962.  

She married Joseph Cade on March 3, 1992 in Princeton, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2000.

Surviving are 2 children: Lisa Barajas of Princeton, IL and Phillip Barajas of Princeton, IL; 3 grandchildren: Brianna, Alex, and Blake.; 2 sisters: Corrina (Pedro) Guerrero and Norma Barajas; 3 brothers: Gilbert (Barb) Barajas, Ruben Barajas, and Lenny (Karen) Barajas and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe and her sister- in law, Gail Barajas.

Bea retired from Harper-Wyman after over 30 years. She worked at Jefferson Elementary School and volunteered at Finders Keepers.

A funeral service will be held Friday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Church of the Nazarene, Princeton, with Pastor Laura Root-Tanner officiating. Visitation will be from 9-11am prior to the service Friday December 14, 2018 at the church. Cremation rites will follow services and a private burial will take place at a later date.     I am so so sorry about the loss of your Mom. I have not seen her in recent years, but remember her from the past. She worked at Harper and I knew her then and of course she came into McDonalds to she her kids. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless,
