Barbara "Jane" Anderson

Barbara "Jane" Anderson, 93, of Princeton died at 7:40 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at Country Comfort Retirement. Born Aug. 2, 1921, in Princeton to Peter and Mildred (Markee) Moodie, she married Lloyd E. Anderson May 20, 1943, in Princeton. He died Dec. 7, 2003. She was a 1939 graduate of Tiskilwa High School. She was a homemaker and a farm wife. She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Princeton. She was a loving mother and grandmother and took great pride in her house and yard. Surviving are one son, Randall (Lisa) Anderson of Princeton; two daughters, Debbie (Michael) Lowrey of Dunwoody, Ga., and Lori (Jay) Schultz of Princeton; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Betty Moodie of Bradford, Camilla Monier of Princeton, Lucille Anderson of Princeton and Marie Anderson of Princeton; and one brother-in-law, Max (Joyce) Anderson of Monmouth. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Arthur, Robert and Charles Moodie; two daughters, Barbara Johnson and LuAnne Anderson; and a granddaughter, Amanda Johnson. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at the Evangelical Covenant Church, Princeton, with Pastor Derek Boggs and Pastor John Weborg officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Princeton. Pallbearers will be Peter Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Joshua Anderson, Korey Lowrey and Hunter Schultz. Memorials may be directed to the Evangelical Covenant Church in Princeton or the Princeton Public School Foundation.
