Audrey A Petersen

Audrey A. Petersen, 67, of Wyanet died at 7:09 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at Colonial Rehab and Nursing Center in Princeton. She was born March 10, 1943, in Spring Valley to Olin and Florence (Jason) Okerberg, She was a 1961 graduate of Tiskilwa High School. She had worked at LCN Door Closure in Princeton. Surviving are two sons, Kevin Petersen of Wyanet and Keith (Regina) Petersen of Mineral; one daughter, Dai Lynn (Robert) Carrasca of Alexis, Ill.; three grandchildren, Tyler and Trever Petersen, and Rhiannon Carrasca; two stepgrandchildren, Samantha and Michael Carrasca; and one great-stepgrandson, Alexander John. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cremation rites will be accorded after the visitation. Private burial will be in the Lacon Cemetery, Lacon, at a later date. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton. Memorials may be directed to the Wyanet Rescue Squad or St. Jude Children''s Hospital.
