Andrew Paul Bogner

Andrew “Andy” Paul Bogner, 65, of Bradford, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

Andy was born on August 5, 1960, in Peoria, Illinois, to Donald “Bill” and Doris Louise (Kinsella) Bogner. He graduated from Bradford High School in 1978 and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Western Illinois University in 1982. Andy worked as a car salesman for many years, starting at McClain Ford in Henry and finishing his sales career at Prescott’s in Princeton before retiring in 2024.

Andy was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Washington Redskins. He also enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. Known for his good-natured sense of humor, Andy faithfully volunteered to bring the pickles to family gatherings—but often forgot to bring them. He was also a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bradford.

Andy is survived by his five siblings: Frank (Laurie) Bogner of Geneva, Mark (Shelly) Bogner of Hennepin, Amy Peterson of Island Lake, Dennis Bogner of Bradford, and Lynne (John) Wright of Henry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Chuck Peterson.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bradford, with Father Michael Schaab officiating. The burial of Andy’s cremated remains will immediately follow the Mass at St. John Cemetery in Bradford.
