Andrew John Frese

Andrew John Frese, 25, of Buda passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018.
He was born Dec. 4, 1992, in Quincy, the son of Dan (Lorie) Frese and Adrienne (Tim) Ries. Andrew married Kayla Roberts Sept. 15, 2018, in Princeton. She survives.
Drew graduated high school and was a member of the Bureau Valley High School Class of 2011, where he enjoyed FFA. He was employed by Ag View FS, and previously by Goldwind America and Christensen Farms.
Andrew was a young man with an old soul. He enjoyed restoring anything with rust and potential. Drew cherished his time spent with retirees and was passionate about farming. Most of all, he loved his children, wife and family.
Drew is also survived by his children, Tyler John Frese and Valerie Grace Frese; his mother, Adrienne (Tim) Ries of Sheffield; his father, Dan (Lorie) Frese of Mendon; his mother-in-law, Rita (Jerry Kenealy) Roberts of Buda; his father-in law, Ernie (Jodi Roggy) Roberts of Buda; his grandparents, John and Kathy Frese of Mendon, Don and Lisa Rust of Ursa, and Bob and Brenda Corrigan of Loraine; three sisters, Lauren (Alex) Schmidt of Sheffield, Jessica Ries of Michigan and Rebecca (Chad) Billsbyof Wisconsin; two brothers, David (Jennifer) West of Quincy and Jeff (Amanda) West of Springfield; two brothers-in-law, Scott (Sean) Roberts of Rockford and Nicholas (Tori) Roberts of Wyanet; 11 nieces and nephews, Elouise Schmidt, Noah and Caleb Owen, Georgia and Zeke Billsby, Patrick and Ethan West, Devin West, and Cassey, Gage and Amber Bringer; and several aunt, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Princeton with Pastor Scott Schmidt officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at the church.
