Randy Carl Foster

Randy Carl Foster, 66, of Buda formerly of Sheffield, IL passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Randy was born on October 10, 1958 in Princeton, IL, the son of Robert and Beverly (Bray) Foster. He graduated from Western High School in Sheffield. Randy worked for Gebeck Farms for many years. He married Julie Nelson on November 26, 1977 in Princeton, IL. Randy was a volunteer with Sheffield Fire Department.  He enjoyed farming, collecting tractors, especially Allis-Chalmers, but most of all loved spending time with his family.

Randy is survived by his wife Julie, of Buda; two sons, Brian (Kristy) Foster of Dekalb, Jeffrey (Heather) Foster, of Sheffield; six grandchildren, Brock, Owen, Blake, Addelyn, Brynley, and Everleigh Foster; three sisters; Cindy (Jim) Moore, of OK, Sheila (Terry) Quilty, of Dahinda, and Pamela Foster, of MT, along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton, IL. Everyone is invited to Sock’s Place in Wyanet, IL immediately following the visitation for a time of fellowship and refreshments. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
