Thank you for all you did for us. You will never be forgotten.-
I just want people to know that it was not easy for me as a kid. I never knew anything about myself. I was always sad and lonely often because I thought nobody cared about me. Every day after school, I would go to Beulahs and clean the back room, including the bathroom… And he and his wife would grant me sanctuary and a pepsi…sometimes a bite to eat if I hadn’t found a place to wander and it had gotten dark. I’ve told this to countless strangers and I just wanted to say thank you. To both. I’m so sorry for your loss. I know you probably still let wayward kids come in there the way they did and figure themselves out. I would have never made it through junior high or high school without this family. Thank you…so much.
