Lillian Margaret Johnson

Lillian Margaret Kjar Johnson, 83, of Princeton, IL, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022.  She was born September 26, 1938 in Battle Creek, Iowa to Bertha and Erik Kjar.  She graduated from Battle Creek High School in 1956. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Erik Kjar, husband, Calvin F. Johnson, brother Larry Kjar and former spouse, William McCorkindale.

She is survived by her sons, Erik (Ric) McCorkindale of Princeton, Dean McCorkindale of Dallas, Texas and brothers, Murl Kjar and wife, Terri of Georgetown, Texas, former spouse of Larry Kjar, Linnea Kjar-Hopp, Marc Kjar and wife, Marsha of Ida Grove, Iowa, Keith Kjar and wife, Mindy of Sgt. Bluff, Iowa, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Lillian was an active member and past Elder of First Presbyterian Church as well as a member of The American Legion of Princeton.

The family thanks the staff of Liberty Village of Princeton where she resided.

A visitation will be held Saturday April 23rd from 10:00-11:00 A.M. with a memorial service to be held at 11:00 following the visitation at First Presbyterian Church, 320 Park Ave E.
