Judy Lee Anderson, 68, of Princeton, died on July 29, 2025 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, surrounded by loved ones.

Judy was born on July 11, 1957 in Princeton, the daughter of Eugene “Gene†and Dorothy (Larson) Dickinson. She graduated from Princeton High School class of 1975. Judy worked at Jostens as an expeditor for many years before retiring. She married Norman Anderson on September 5, 1975 in Princeton. Judy had a strong faith and was an active member at Christ Community Church in Princeton. Norm and Judy were avid members at many gyms over the last 30 years. Judy loved to travel; especially spending her winters in Venice, FL. She cherished watching the sunsets over the gulf, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Norm Anderson of Princeton; daughter Christina (Tom) Lewis of Walnut; two-grandchildren, Joshua (Elizabeth) Lewis of Geneseo, and Marissa (Cody) Greenway of Ottawa; two great-grandchildren, Dean Lewis and Hallie Greenway, with one on the way; five siblings, Lynn (Bill) Bohnsack of Princeton, Cheryl (Bill) Currie of Valparaiso, IN, and Susan Johnson of Princeton, Michael (Diane) Dickinson of Nashville, TN, and Joel Dickinson of Princeton.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and infant brother.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation Rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Christ Community Church in Princeton, IL.

  1. We are so fortunate to have been able to call Judy our friend. She always had a warm welcome or compliment to share, always made you feel the most important person in the room. Judy will be sorely missed. Our sympathy to Norm her #1 and the rest of the family. Someday we will be all together again.
