Jeffrey Austin Merdian, 58, of Princeton, IL passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at his home in Princeton.

Jeff was born on March 17, 1967 in Spring Valley, IL the son of Jerry and Alice (Austin) Merdian. He worked various jobs throughout his lifetime finishing his career with Fast Stop in Princeton. Jeff enjoyed taking trips and spending time at local racetracks to watch Stock Car Racing.

He is survived by his brother, Brian Merdian and many friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Phillip Scott Merdian.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

  1. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed when Jeff would cross the street and we would chat about Nascar and the Chiefs. He will be missed.
