Denise Hope Stegmann, 65, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at OSF Hospital, in Peoria, IL.
Denise was born in Elmhurst, IL, on March 16, 1957, to Charles Albert and Henrietta Marie (Lesnar) Matthies.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Jean (Mark) Matthies.
Denise is survived by her 3 children, her son Michael (Tara) Stegmann of Plainfield, IL, daughter Colleen (Cameron) Cooper, of Sugar Grove, IL, and her son Adam, of Princeton, IL. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren: Levi and Dakota Stegmann, Plainfield, IL, Graham and Jonah Cooper, Sugar Grove, IL and Derek and Bradley Stegmann, Princeton, IL. Also surviving are Denise's siblings: Christine (Daniel) Perry, Claudia (Robert) Roland, Mark Matthies and Charles Matthies.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Per Denise's wishes, there will be no service.
Memorials can be sent to the family.
