Connie Faye Mecum

Connie Faye Mecum, 73, of Wyanet formerly of Princeton passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Friday, September 5, 2025.

Connie was born on January 26, 1952 in Conran, MO the daughter of Marion Jackson and Enda L. (Emerson) King. Connie was a high school graduate of La Moille High School. She married William Mecum on December 22, 1972 in Princeton. He preceded her in death on September 1, 2001.  Connie worked as a care taker for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Holly Foster or Wyanet; two grandchildren, Jordan and Paige Foster; one great-grandchild and one sister, Rita (Raymond) Blackburn of Spring Valley; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, William Mecum and multiple siblings.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. Per her wishes there will be no services.
