Nicole "Nik" Renee Renner

Nicole “Nik” Renee Renner, 48, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, formerly of Manlius, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Nicole was born on February 13, 1978, in Princeton, Illinois, the daughter of Eric and Karen (Chesser) Renner. She was a member of the first graduating class of Bureau Valley High School in Manlius. In 2009, Nicole earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Midstate College in Peoria, Illinois.

Nicole began her career at Prime Quarter Steak House in Princeton. Following her education, she worked at Par-A-Dice Casino, Midstate College, and most recently, Enterprise Holdings as an accountant.

Nicole loved baking and was especially known for her delicious lemon cookies. She cherished her three cats, Zoey, Marley, and Midnight. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family, who meant the world to her.

She is survived by her parents, Eric and Karen Renner of Wyanet, Illinois; her brother, Jason (Kelly) Renner of Grovetown, Georgia; three nephews, Eric “Jake” (Jayden) Renner, Alex Renner, and Andrew Renner; two great-nieces, Maevery and Maddyn Renner; one great-nephew, Maxsten Renner; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Nicole was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lowell and Marilyn Renner, and her maternal grandparents, Walter and Marjorie Chesser.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at Greenville-Fairfield Cemetery north of New Bedford, Illinois, with Jeff Whalen officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will immediately follow the service. Cremation rites were accorded in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
